Santorini Photo Tour

A relaxed one-to-two-hour walk through Santorini's most photogenic corners — Oia's blue domes, the Fira caldera path, the terraces of Imerovigli — timed to the light, with a local who knows which lane is empty at which hour. From €350, with 40–80 edited photos.

The route

Three to five locations in one session, chosen for the light and the crowds on the day. The two classic routes:

Prefer the water? A catamaran session on the caldera swaps lanes and domes for sails, red cliffs and a swim stop.

Couples, honeymoons and families

Most photo tours are couples on honeymoon or celebrating an anniversary, but the format works just as well for families. Family photoshoots in Santorini run at the same pace — the kids set the tempo and I follow; there is no standing in a line squinting at the sun. Grandparents, groups of friends and solo travellers are all welcome. You can also see the family portfolio on the homepage.

What to wear

Santorini's palette is white, blue, terracotta and volcanic black. Soft whites, creams, sand, sage and dusty blues photograph beautifully against it; heavy patterns and neon fight the background. Flowing fabrics move in the caldera wind, which looks wonderful on camera. Full guide: what to wear for your Santorini photo session.

Questions couples ask before booking

Sunrise or sunset — which is better?

Sunrise for empty streets and pastel light in Oia; sunset for warm golden light along the Fira caldera path. If crowds matter to you, choose sunrise. If colour matters most, choose golden hour.

Do you photograph families with young children?

Yes, often. I keep the session moving, work quickly while the children are engaged, and build in breaks. Family sessions start from €350 like every other photo tour.

How much walking is involved?

Between one and three kilometres over gentle paths and steps. Comfortable shoes are worth carrying — you can change into heels for the photos.

Can we do Oia and Fira in one session?

Yes, with a two-hour session and a short car transfer between the villages (about 20 minutes). Otherwise choose one village and go deeper.

Do you work with solo travellers?

Absolutely. Around one in ten photo tours is a solo traveller who wants photos of themselves that are not selfies.
