Santorini Photographers is the studio of Alexandros Sirigos, a photographer based on the island since 2014 with more than 500 sessions. We photograph surprise proposals from a hidden position, weddings and elopements on the caldera, and couple, honeymoon and family sessions at golden hour in Oia, Imerovigli and Fira.
One hour costs €349 and includes 60 or more edited photos, delivered within a week in a private gallery. Every extra hour adds €150 and 50 photos. You request a date, we confirm within 24 hours, and a 30 % deposit secures it. No payment is taken on this site.

Eighty-eight seconds from a surprise proposal in Imerovigli: the drone over the caldera, the terrace lit with sparklers, the yes. Films are an add-on to any proposal package.
Where we shoot
Three villages, each with its own hour. The locations guide ranks every spot by light and crowd level.
The postcard: blue domes, the castle ruins, the windmills and the long walk down to Ammoudi. It is also the busiest village on the island from 17:00 until dark.
Sunrise to 09:00 for empty alleys; 60 to 30 minutes before sunset for the domes and the castle.

Alexandros Sirigos
Born into a family of Santorini photographers, working on the island since 2014, more than 500 sessions for couples from more than ten countries.
Alexandros photographs every session himself. He speaks English and Greek, knows which terrace is empty at which minute, and answers his own WhatsApp.

How much does a photographer cost in Santorini?
Independent photographers in Santorini charge about €150 to €300 for 30 to 60 minutes and €350 to €700 for two to three hours. We charge €349 for one hour with 60 or more edited photos, and every extra hour adds €150 and 50 photos. Weddings start at €890 for a three-hour elopement.
Is it worth hiring a professional photographer in Santorini?
If you want photos of both of you at the right spot in the right light, yes. Phone photos from the busy viewpoints rarely work: the light is behind you, the crowds are in the frame and nobody is in the picture together. A local photographer knows which terrace is empty at 19:10 and which path catches the last light.
How far in advance should I book?
Four to eight weeks ahead for June to September, when sunset slots fill first. Two to three weeks is usually enough in spring and autumn. Last-minute requests are welcome; we answer within 24 hours and often the same day.
What happens if it rains?
We move the session to another time or day at no cost. Rain is rare from May to October, but strong wind is not, so we decide together the day before and switch to a sheltered village or a later slot when needed.
How many photos will I receive, and are they all edited?
60 or more for one hour, 110 or more for two hours, 160 or more for three hours, 50 or more for a proposal. Every delivered photo is edited for color and light. We do not deliver RAW files.
How and when do we get the photos?
In a private online gallery with full-resolution downloads. Proposals arrive within two to three days, sessions within one week, weddings within four to six weeks with a sneak peek inside 48 hours. Express delivery within 48 hours is a €90 add-on.
