Weddings & elopements

Santorini Wedding Photographer

Natural, unposed wedding photography for couples marrying above the caldera. From a two-hour elopement at a whitewashed chapel to a full day at a clifftop venue — I have photographed weddings on this island for over 12 years and know how every venue looks at every hour.

Coverage options

Every wedding is quoted individually — tell me your date, venue and the hours you need and I send a fixed price within 24 hours. Most couples choose one of three shapes:

How I photograph a wedding day

Documentary first. I stay close but quiet, and I do not stage moments that did not happen. There are only two short windows where I will ask for your attention: ten minutes for family and group photos straight after the ceremony (working from a list you give me in advance), and twenty minutes at golden hour for the two of you. Everything else is real.

Because I live here, I know the details that are hard to plan from abroad — which terrace is in shade at 5pm in July, where the wind hits in August, which chapel doors are locked without a call to the priest, and how long the walk from the car to the venue really takes in a wedding dress.

Santorini wedding venues I photograph most

Timing that makes the photos: plan the ceremony to end 90–120 minutes before sunset. Your vows are in soft light, the family photos are quick, and your couple portraits land exactly at golden hour. In July and August that means a ceremony starting around 6:30–7pm; in May and October, closer to 5:30pm. Read more in the seasonal light guide.

Questions couples ask before booking

Do you photograph weddings on other Greek islands?

Yes — Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Milos and Crete are all regular trips. Travel is quoted at cost on top of the coverage price.

How many photos will we receive?

200–400 edited photos for a full day, roughly 80–120 for an elopement. Every delivered photo is individually edited; nothing is batch-filtered.

When will we get our wedding photos?

A sneak peek of 20–30 photos within 48 hours for sharing, and the full private gallery within 4–6 weeks.

Do you do formal group photos?

Yes. Send me a list before the day and I run the groups in about ten minutes straight after the ceremony, so you get back to your guests quickly.

Can you also film the wedding?

Yes. Wedding films are produced with the SantoriniFilms team, who work alongside me on the day. Ask for a combined photo and film quote.

How far in advance should we book?

For May to October, 6–12 months ahead — popular Saturdays go first. For off-season dates, 2–3 months is usually enough.
