Born into photography
I grew up in a Greek-American family where there was always a camera on the table, and I have spent more than a decade doing the one thing that fulfils me most: keeping the best moments of couples who come to Santorini to celebrate their love.
Living on the island all year is why I know where the wind hits Skaros Rock in August, which lane in Oia is empty at 7:40 in the morning, and how long the walk to the Akrotiri lighthouse really takes in the heat.
How I work
I make you forget the camera is there. No stiff poses, no "look at me and smile". I photograph the way you actually are together, the walk, the laugh, the pause at the edge of the caldera, and I time everything to the light. What you get back is real: real smiles, real tears, real connection.
For surprise proposals that means working unseen from a distance until the ring is on. For weddings it means documentary coverage with two short portrait windows and nothing staged. For photo tours and family sessions it means a relaxed walk at the pace of whoever is in front of the lens, including the children.
Where you will find me
Anywhere on Santorini: Oia, Imerovigli, Firostefani, Fira, Pyrgos, Akrotiri, Vlychada and Perivolos, on the caldera by catamaran, and by arrangement on Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Milos and Crete. The locations guide has the spots I use most, by hour.
Photo and film
Alongside photography I produce proposal and wedding films with the SantoriniFilms team, the same eye on both, so the film and the photos tell one story. I am an EASA-registered drone operator and fly where the island's rules allow it. Watch a recent proposal film.
The studio
Santorini Photographers is my studio brand. I photograph every session myself, answer my own WhatsApp and email, and reply within 24 hours. You can follow recent sessions on Instagram and Facebook.
