An engagement photoshoot in Santorini is a planned couple session once you are engaged, often the morning after a proposal or on a separate trip before the wedding. It costs €349 for one hour in one village with 60 or more photos, or €499 for two hours in two villages with 110 or more, delivered within a week.

Engagement session or proposal shoot
A proposal shoot captures the surprise itself, from a hidden position, with portraits right after. An engagement session is the calm version: you both know what is happening, you chose the outfits, we chose the light. Many couples book both as the Proposal + Next-Morning Session bundle (€549).
If you are already engaged when you arrive, the engagement session is the one to book. It is also the session we recommend for save-the-date cards: two villages, two outfits, a hundred frames to choose from.

The two routes we use most
Morning in Oia: we meet at 07:15 at the bus square, walk the empty alleys to the domes, the windmills and the castle steps, and finish on a terrace with coffee at 08:30, before the first groups arrive. Soft light, no people, the postcard without the queue.
Evening in Imerovigli and Oia: the chapel terrace below Skaros Rock at 18:30, the cliff path, a ten-minute taxi, then Oia from the quiet side for the last light. This is the Signature Session route and the one most engagement couples choose.

Outfits and the wind
Light fabrics move well in the caldera wind, which is part of the look, but a very light skirt in Oia at 19:00 in August is a fight. Bring a second option, keep hair off the face, and wear flat shoes for the steps; heels go in a bag for the terraces.
Colors: cream, sand, sage, terracotta, pale blue and white all sit well against the white walls and the sea. Avoid large logos, neon and busy patterns. Our what-to-wear guide has the full list, including what works at sunrise versus sunset.

60 or more edited photos for one hour, 110 or more for two, in full resolution, in a private gallery for twelve months. Delivery within a week, express 48-hour delivery for €90. A 60-second reel (€120) is popular for the announcement.

Where we shoot it
The postcard: blue domes, the castle ruins, the windmills and the long walk down to Ammoudi. It is also the busiest village on the island from 17:00 until dark.
Sunrise to 09:00 for empty alleys; 60 to 30 minutes before sunset for the domes and the castle.
The highest village on the caldera and the quietest of the three. Skaros Rock.
