A family photoshoot in Santorini with us is one relaxed hour in Oia or Imerovigli, at the pace of the youngest person in the group, with 60 or more edited photos within a week. The Family Session costs €349 for up to six people, plus €40 per extra family beyond that. Maternity, babymoon and three-generation sessions run the same way.

How a family hour works
Nobody is asked to hold still. We meet at the first terrace, walk a little, stop where the light is good, and let the kids run ahead. The photos happen in between: a parent lifting a child onto the wall, grandparents laughing at the goat, the whole group at the blue dome gate for the one frame everybody wants.
Alexandros's note: I shoot the group photo first, in the first five minutes, while everyone still has patience. After that the session is play, and the best photos come from it.
Strollers are fine in Oia on the main path and on the Imerovigli terraces; we avoid the steps. Snack and water breaks are built in.

The morning slot
The blue dome in Oia is quiet at 08:30 and crowded by 10:00. For families we book the first slot of the day: meet at 08:20 at the bus square, the dome and the gate by 08:30, alleys with bougainvillea, and back at the hotel for breakfast by 09:30. The light is soft and nobody is hot or hungry yet.
Families with older children, and maternity sessions, often prefer sunset on the terraces of Imerovigli instead: open space, the caldera behind, and the chapel terrace below Skaros Rock for the last frames.

What to wear with children
Light colors that match without matching: cream, sand, pale blue, white, soft earth tones. Avoid characters and logos on the kids' shirts; they take over the photo. Bring a spare shirt for the small ones and comfortable shoes for everyone, the alleys are cobbled.
Grandparents: the Oia route has a few steps, the Imerovigli terraces have none. Tell us about mobility when you book and we choose the flat route.
Prices and what you receive
€349 for one hour and up to six people, 60 or more edited photos in full resolution within a week, online for twelve months. Beyond six people we add €40 per extra family; three-generation groups of ten or twelve are common. An extra hour is €150 with 50 more photos; express delivery within 48 hours is €90.
No payment on this site: we confirm within 24 hours, a 30 % deposit secures the date, and a bad night's sleep counts as a reason to reschedule.
Where we shoot it
The postcard: blue domes, the castle ruins, the windmills and the long walk down to Ammoudi. It is also the busiest village on the island from 17:00 until dark.
Sunrise to 09:00 for empty alleys; 60 to 30 minutes before sunset for the domes and the castle.
The highest village on the caldera and the quietest of the three. Skaros Rock.
Golden hour, 70 to 10 minutes before sunset, on the chapel terrace below Skaros.
